This aerial shot of the area of Boxworth Road in 1960 shows Rogers
Close before it was built on (top left of the picture) and adjoining it
the glasshouses of a smallholding at the end of Duncock Lane, which has
also been built on. The old almshouses at the top of the
Drift can also be seen in the bottom left of the picture, and the
farmyard of Browns Farm is visible in the bottom right. The
graveyard behind the chapel is also visible. Many of the
houses in this image had large gardens that have now been built on as
well.
